Our people are at the core of everything we do. That’s why the annual Edison Weekend is a highly anticipated highlight of our calendar. It provides an opportunity to gather team members from across the country to celebrate, connect, and recognise the contributions of our employees and their families.
This year’s event was held at the beautiful Cordis Auckland, welcoming 127 attendees, including staff and their partners. In the afternoon, everyone was free to explore the hotel and vibrant city of Auckland. We then came together for a drinks reception and a celebratory dinner in the evening, creating a relaxed atmosphere for socialising and having fun.
The weekend also allowed us to acknowledge some significant milestones within our team. We celebrated Mark Lewis for his 25 years of service and both Aaron Coombes and Louise Meiklejohn for their 20 years of dedication to Edison. A special thanks goes to Louise for her exceptional event organising skills, which ensured everything ran smoothly.
The positive feedback from attendees highlighted the value and importance of putting faces to names and deepening connections within our expanding team.
