Vadim joins Edison as a Senior Design Engineer with more than 10 years’ experience in protection design. He has design experience with recloser protection, hydro powerplants protection and transient modelling for protection algorithm development. Although from Ukraine, Vadim moved to New Zealand from Armenia where he also gained experience working at different hydro power plants.
Vadim is proficient with various modelling tools such as MATLAB Simulink and DigSILENT Power Factory as well as tasks automation with Python.
In his spare time Vadim enjoys cooking, cars and football (playing and watching).
