Mark is the Regional Manager for Bay of Plenty/Tairāwhiti. He is an electrical engineer with over 25 years of electricity supply industry experience. Mark has significant experience in the design and drawing of zone substations and distribution lines including transformer replacements and overhead lines upgrades as well as project managing distribution equipment renewal projects. Mark has extensive knowledge of the Transpower grid which is applied in his role of managing the maintenance of Transpower’s Operating drawings. This knowledge has been extended to the Powerco network. Mark holds a National Diploma in Project Management Level 5 and NZCE.
