Les is a registered electrician and has over 40 years of experience within the electricity supply industry in New Zealand and Australia. He has worked in a wide range of roles including maintenance supervisor, project manager, contract specialist, plant performance team leader, operations manager and energy/asset management consultant and has significant leadership and management experience.
Les has worked on a wide range of power industry asset types, such as energy production (eg thermal, geothermal, hydro) as well as transmission and distribution. Over recent years he has gained specialist knowledge on large scale green hydrogen/ammonia development projects in NZ and overseas.
Les holds a Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) certification.
