An exciting leadership opportunity in our Tauranga office has become available. The Area Manager is a key position in our leadership team and the role is a mix of programme / project management and people leadership.

Do you have what it takes to succeed?

We are looking for an Area Manager who will oversee the Tauranga team operations and contribute to projects / programmes of work. As a key member of Edison’s leadership team, the Area Manager is accountable for the commercial success of the Tauranga office, ensuring Edison is a successful, sustainable, and viable business. This role is varied and includes business leadership, stakeholder management, business development, people leadership and technical delivery responsibilities.

To be successful you will be an effective leader with project management experience. You will be able to effectively lead a team of professional consultants, ensuring the team delivers on time and to a high standard. Naturally, you will build and manage effective client and internal relationships.

Ideally you will have:

  • Ten plus years electrical engineering experience
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, BE or similar
  • Leadership experience
  • Commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
