Do you have what it takes to succeed?

We are looking for an Area Manager who will establish and then lead the South Island team operations. As a member of Edison’s leadership team, the Area Manager will be accountable for the commercial success of the South Island office, ensuring Edison is a successful, sustainable, and viable business. This role is varied and includes business leadership, stakeholder management, business development, people leadership and technical delivery responsibilities.

To be successful you will be an effective leader with project management experience. You will be able to effectively lead a team of professional consultants, ensuring the team delivers on time and to a high standard. Naturally, you will build and manage effective client and internal relationships.

Ideally you will have:

  • 15+ years’ experience in the electricity sector
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, BE or similar
  • Leadership experience
  • Commercial acumen
  • Proven ability to grow and sustain effective client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
