Edison Board Appoints Two New Independent Directors

Edison continues to strengthen its position in New Zealand’s electricity sector.

To ensure we are future fit, Edison has expanded the Board, appointing two new Independent Directors at the 2023 AGM. We welcome Paul Evans and Samantha Sharif, who share our vision and values for creating an innovative, ethical, and inclusive company. Additionally, Bronwyn Smits was recognised and thanked for her invaluable service as an Independent Director. We wish her all the best as she retires from her role on the Edison Board.

The Board now consists of three Independent Directors and two Executive Directors, reflecting a balance and diversity of views and expertise vital for our future growth.
