Joe has emigrated to New Zealand from London, bringing 20 years’ experience from a variety of roles working for the UK's transmission owner / operator, National Grid.
Originally, Joe trained as a mechanical engineer, working on replacing the London Gas Network (replacing both services, mains and above ground installations), and was also a repair supervisor for emergency gas escapes. He then moved on to other projects, ranging from small asset health replacements (CT's/ VT's, Surge arrestors, breakers) to large infrastructure works like new substation builds and emergency transformer replacements.
Joe enjoys spending time with his family, health and fitness and exploring beautiful New Zealand.
