Amila has over 16 years’ experience in the electricity supply industry. As a former Electrical Engineer in the utility sector and Design Engineer in consultancy, he has extensive experience in theories, applications, and practices in Electrical Engineering. He has attained skills and experience with design of panels for high voltage substations, operation, hydro power plant assets, MV/LV network developments, reliability improvement projects and asset management.
Amila graduated from Faculty of Engineering with B.Sc.(Hons) in Electrical & Information Engineering, Sri Lanka.
He enjoys keeping fit, trekking and jogging with his family and is passionate about taking on new challenges in life.
