News Updates

In this month’s edition of the Edison eNews we show you a bit of the fun side to our team as witnessed at the Powerco Charity Golf Tournament; we present our latest case studies now online and we have a couple of extra reminders that may be worth noting…

Golf Tournament a Success for NZ Charities

The Powerco Charity Golf Tournament was a fantastic event organised by The Rotary Club of Papamoa, tasked with raising money for the local St Johns Ambulance and Canteen (the child cancer support group).
Held on ANZAC Day, the golf tournament successfully raised over $8,000 which was gifted to the two nominated charities. While we all enjoyed a great day out with our friends and peers (back when the sun was still shining and the weather was still warm!), we also took our role as volunteers and fundraisers for such worthwhile causes, very seriously.
Edison sponsored the 4th hole as part of our contribution to the event, we also ran a “drinks & bacon butties” stand on site which was well appreciated by the players and spectators alike. Unfortunately there are no budding future ‘Master Chefs’ here at Edison, but we figured you can’t go too wrong with a BBQ!

New Tauranga Office

Edison’s Bay of Plenty delivery team is now well and truly settled into their new office.  The move has bought our team to a more central location with better access to the regions main arterial routes, Tauranga airport and some great local cafes.  OK, it was the cafes that sold it for us really.

If you haven’t updated your database and records already then please take note of our new contact details here:

20 Jean Batten Drive, Mt Maunganui, 3116
PO Box 4269, Mt Maunganui South, 3149
Phone: 07 572 0700, fax: 07 572 0703

Unfortunately our local telecommunications agency considers us to have gone “overseas” (all the way to Mt Maunganui) so we were required to change our phone and fax numbers as well.  Although, our old numbers will be held and transferred to our new line for the next few months.
