Edison Advisory Board Announced

We are excited to announce that we now have an advisory board in place, tasked with setting the direction of our business, ensuring good corporate governance and steering us towards further sustainable growth.

Alongside managing director, Michael Nicholson, will be two non-executive board advisers including Craig Hattle (Chair) and Bronwyn Smits.

Introducing Craig Hattle
BSc (Agric), MBA, CMInstD

Craig is a proactive leader, who believes in the importance of people development as critical to the success of a business.

“If you have the right team that is focussed on achieving the common purpose of exemplary customer service, you will have the foundations for commercial success”

He is an Advisory Board specialist, and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors (NZ). His experience on a wide variety of different Boards and Advisory Boards, in engineering, seafood processing, airfreight and logistics, heavy vehicle parts and services and in horticulture, will add a breadth of diversity and thinking to the Edison Consulting Group.

Craig is currently the Board Chair of the Advantage Business group nationally and has been responsible for the group’s internal governance review process.

After taking an Agricultural Science Degree, Craig worked as an Agronomist until he had the opportunity to buy into his own business, and spent a decade growing the family group of businesses in the Fresh-cut Flower trade.

He took on his first non-executive board position at Hallmark Flowers in the UK, a Directorship held for several years, during which time he completed his MBA.

Craig enjoys outdoor pursuits, a good scuba dive, and has enjoyed over 1400 hours as a private pilot.

Introducing Bronwyn Smits
